Description

Isadora is a plush open front cardigan built to be the layer you reach for without thinking. The pile is deep enough to read as texture from across a room, and the shawl collar is oversized so it rolls open and sits properly rather than collapsing flat. There is no closure, which is the point. It goes on over whatever is already on and stays comfortable indoors.

The body is cut long and loose through the shoulder and sleeve, so it layers over a tee, a knit set or a shirt without pulling at the arms. Side pockets are set into the seam rather than patched on. The knit has enough weight to hang instead of riding up, and the cuffs are ribbed so the sleeves stay where you push them.

Five colours: Khaki, Beige, Blue, Navy blue and Pink. Sizes run S through 5XL, which is a genuine size range rather than a nominal one. Wear it over leggings at home, over denim and a tank for a coffee run, or as the outer layer on a mild day when a coat is too much. How warm is it, really?

Every listing states the lining and the fabric weight rather than a vague marketing claim. Fleece-lined leggings are lined edge to edge, not only at the panels. Lined footwear is lined through the whole shoe, not just the footbed.

How do I care for this piece?

Care instructions are listed on each product page. As a rule: knitwear is washed cold on a gentle cycle and dried flat, fleece-lined leggings are washed inside out and never tumble-dried on high, and suede footwear is brushed dry and treated with a suede protector before first wear.

About This Pair

Wash it cold on a gentle cycle and dry it flat. Heat is what mats plush pile, so keep it out of a hot dryer. Treated that way the loft stays even. Skip fabric softener as well, since it coats the fibres and dulls the surface.
