This dress runs S through XL. The skirt is generous and forgiving — the bodice is what determines your size. Because of the one-shoulder construction there's no adjustable strap to take up slack, so fit through the bust matters more here than on a standard maxi.

Size to your bust measurement first. If your bust and hip land in different rows, take the row your bust falls in — the skirt will accommodate the difference, the bodice won't.

These are body measurements, not flat garment measurements. Measure yourself rather than comparing against a dress you already own.

How to measure: Bust — around the fullest part, tape level across the back, wearing the bra you'll wear with it. Waist — the narrowest part of your torso. Hip — feet together, around the fullest part of your seat.

Three things worth knowing

• Between two sizes? Take the larger one. A flowing maxi looks intentional slightly loose and strained slightly tight.
• Wear a strapless or adhesive bra. One-shoulder means there's nowhere to hide a strap on the bare side. Plan for it before the event, not the morning of.
• Sizes run S to XL only. There's no XS or XXL in this style.

Length and height

Full-length maxi, cut to reach the floor or just above it on average height. Under 5'4", expect the hem to pool — plan on a wedge or a short hem. Over 5'9", expect it to sit closer to the ankle than the floor. If you're ordering for a specific event, order early enough to have it hemmed.
