• Straight button-front closure — button it all the way for coverage, or leave the bottom open so the A-line shows.

Read this one before you order. The size labels on this coat run small against US sizing — roughly two sizes small. A label M here fits a US 4 to 6, not a US 8 to 10. The chart below is the supplier factory chart with the US conversion worked out.

Measurements are garment measurements taken flat — the coat itself, not your body.

Measured flat by hand — allow 1 inch (2 to 3 cm) variance. Bust and waist are full circumferences with the coat buttoned; length runs from the shoulder seam to the hem.

Three things worth knowing

• Order by the US column, never the letter. This is the single most common mistake on this style. If you wear a US 10, you want the label XL.
• The length barely changes across sizes. It runs 40.6 to 42.5 inches from S through 4XL — under two inches of difference. Sizing up for extra length will not work; you get width, not drop.
• Bust and waist are cut the same. This is a straight-through A-line with no waist suppression, so if your waist is the narrower measurement, expect a relaxed line rather than a defined one.

Length and height

Roughly 41 inches from shoulder to hem. Under 5 ft 4 in, that lands at mid-calf. 5 ft 5 in to 5 ft 8 in, just below the knee. Over 5 ft 9 in, at or slightly above the knee. Because the length is nearly flat across the size run, use your height to predict the hem, not your size.
