This coat runs S through 3XL, and the supplier publishes a direct US conversion for every size — so this one is unusually easy to get right. Measurements are garment measurements taken flat, not body measurements.

Measured flat by hand — allow 1 inch (2 to 3 cm) variance. Bust is the full circumference at the underarm with the coat closed; length runs from the shoulder seam to the hem; sleeve from the shoulder seam to the cuff.

Three things worth knowing

• Use the US column, not the letter. Take the row your everyday US dress size falls in. The letters do not carry the same meaning across brands; the US number does.
• Sleeves are cut generously and meant to be rolled. Under 5 ft 5 in, plan on turning the cuff back once — that is the intended look, not a fit problem.
• Layering over a blazer? Take one size up. There is room for a sweater at your normal size, but structured shoulders underneath need the extra.

Length and height

Mid-thigh across the range. Under 5 ft 4 in, it drops closer to the knee and reads more like a longline coat — still good, just a different line than pictured. Over 5 ft 9 in, expect it to sit at upper thigh.
